Laptop work goes better with fresh air and a decent coffee. Le Cafe Du Parc offers Wi-Fi and a park-like patio at 12000 Spectrum in Irvine, inside The Park at Irvine Spectrum. It is about a 3-minute drive from Irvine Spectrum Center. Tables sit outdoors under trees and palms, around a small iron-and-glass café building, and the pace is calm. Doors open at 7 AM, which suits an early start, and we close at 10 PM Sunday through Thursday and 11 PM on Friday and Saturday. That leaves a long working day. For fuel, order a cappuccino, café latte, americano or Spanish latte, or a matcha latte or chai karak if you prefer tea. A smoothie, lemonade refresher or iced coffee is nice when it is warm. Food is easy to eat with one hand: an Egg and Cheese Croissant, Avocado Toast, a flatbread or an Arugula Salad. When the work is done, there are crêpes, waffles and desserts.
