John Wayne Airport is the county airport, and Le Cafe Du Parc is about 12 minutes from it by car, roughly 7.8 miles, to the southeast at 12000 Spectrum in Irvine. That makes us an option for travelers with a little time on either side of a flight, as well as for people picking up friends or family. If you land hungry, a Beef Burger with Chips, a flatbread or an Arugula Salad is a proper meal in a quiet setting. If you have the morning before a departure, we open at 7 AM and serve Egg and Cheese Croissants, Avocado Toast and strong coffee, including Turkish coffee and a Spanish latte. After dinner, crêpes and waffles are on the menu. Leave yourself a buffer for the drive back and for airport procedures, and please check your own flight times. We are open until 10 PM Sunday through Thursday and 11 PM on Friday and Saturday. The café sits inside The Park at Irvine Spectrum, a park-like apartment community, with outdoor seating under trees and palms, Wi-Fi, and free parking. If you are traveling light, order ahead online and collect your food at the counter. Catering is also available if you need dessert for a group arriving in town.
