Waffles in Irvine
A dozen waffles share the dessert side of the menu with the crêpes, and they are built the same way: a fresh waffle, your choice of chocolate, then whatever you want on top. The Chocolate Waffle at $14 is the simplest build. From there the menu climbs to the Chocofruit Waffle with banana, kiwi, pineapple and mixed berries, the Brownies Waffle and Lotus Waffle served with vanilla ice cream, and the Ice Cream Waffle with both vanilla and chocolate scoops. The Creamy Kinder Waffle comes covered in Kinder hazelnut filling with four pieces of Kinder, and the Coconut Chocolate Waffle pairs coconut-infused white chocolate with pineapple. The Dubai Waffle brings the pistachio-and-kunafa style to a waffle. For a smaller portion, the Half Fruit Waffle gives you half a waffle with strawberry and banana for $13.

Why Le Cafe Du Parc Waffles
Waffles here are a dessert first, which is why nearly every build offers vanilla ice cream and a chocolate choice. They are also one of the easiest things to share: a full waffle with fruit and a scoop feeds two comfortably after dinner, and the café stays open until 10 PM most nights and 11 PM on Friday and Saturday, so it works as a late stop after Irvine Spectrum.

What is the difference between a Chocolate Waffle and a Half and Half Waffle?+
The Chocolate Waffle has one chocolate on top; the Half and Half Waffle lets you split it between any two of Belgian chocolate, Nutella or Lotus. Both are $14, so the Half and Half is the way to try two flavors for the same price.
Do the waffles come with ice cream?+
Several do by default: the Brownies, Lotus, Ice Cream, Coconut Chocolate and Creamy Kinder waffles are served with vanilla ice cream. On the others, ice cream is an add-on you can select when ordering.
Is there a breakfast-style waffle?+
The Strawberry Maple Waffle, with fresh strawberries, whipped cream and maple syrup, is the closest to a breakfast waffle. The café opens at 7 AM daily, and the Fried Chicken and Waffle on the Savory page is the savory option.
