Chocolate fountain & crêpe station catering in Orange County: packages and planning

A dessert table is often the thing guests remember from a party. At Le Cafe Du Parc, our catering side covers three kinds of live dessert service: crêpe stations, mini pancake stations and chocolate fountains. This post lays out how each package works, what it includes, and how to match one to your guest count. Everything here comes from our 2026 catering price sheet. For the full details, see our catering page.

The three options at a glance

  • Dessert Crêpe Station: $14 per person.
  • Mini Pancake Station: $12 per person.
  • Chocolate fountain: packages from $595, or fountain-only from $795.

Stations are priced per guest. Fountains are priced by the size of the fountain and the number of guests it serves.

Crêpe and mini pancake stations

A station is staffed dessert service: attendants run it for the length of your event, so you are not cooking or serving anything yourself. It gives guests something to gather around as well as something to eat.

What the price includes

Both station packages include:

  • Two attendants
  • Delivery
  • Setup
  • Three hours of service
  • Breakdown at the end

The Dessert Crêpe Station is $14 per person. The Mini Pancake Station is $12 per person. There is also a base charge of $350 on station packages.

How to work out a station budget

Multiply your guest count by the per-person rate, then add the $350 base charge. For 40 guests at the crêpe station, that is 40 × $14 = $560, plus $350, for $910. For 40 guests at the mini pancake station, it is 40 × $12 = $480, plus $350, for $830. Your final quote may differ depending on date, location and add-ons, so call to confirm.

Extra time and sides

If your event runs past the three hours, extra time is $100 per hour. You can also add sides for $1 each:

  • Brownies
  • Lotus crumbs
  • Oreo crumbs
  • Mixed berries

Sides give guests more to build with. Lotus and Oreo crumbs work on both crêpes and mini pancakes. Brownies and berries suit guests who like a heavier or a fresher plate.

Chocolate fountains

A chocolate fountain works differently from a station. It is a centerpiece: chocolate flows, and guests dip. That makes it a good fit for events where people are moving around and grazing, such as receptions and open houses.

Fountain packages with dipping items

Packages that include dipping items start at $595 and go up to $2,990. The size of the fountain and the guest count go together:

Package Fountain size Guest count
Smallest 23" 40 to 50 guests
Largest 44" 100 to 120 guests

The $595 package is the 23-inch fountain for 40 to 50 guests. The $2,990 package is the 44-inch fountain for 100 to 120 guests. The packages between those two sizes cover the guest counts in the middle. Call us and we will go through the options for your count.

Fountain-only packages

If you only need the fountain itself, fountain-only packages run from $795 to $1,395. They cover up to 100 to 200 guests, depending on the package.

What every fountain package includes

All of our fountain packages come with:

  • One attendant
  • Delivery
  • Setup
  • Three hours of runtime
  • Breakdown
  • Skewers
  • Trays
  • Disposables

So you do not need to supply serving gear. The attendant looks after the fountain during the event.

Color-themed events

For events with a color theme, we offer a white chocolate option. It is worth raising if your event has a set palette, such as a wedding, shower or birthday party. Tell us your colors when you call.

Choosing between a station and a fountain

If you want... Consider
Dessert made fresh in front of guests Crêpe or mini pancake station
A visual centerpiece guests can dip into Chocolate fountain
The lowest per-guest cost for a mid-sized group Mini Pancake Station at $12 per person
A very large crowd A larger fountain, for 100 to 200 guests

If you are weighing the two for a larger event, ask us on the phone and we will talk it through.

Planning timeline

  1. Pick a rough guest count. Use the number you expect to attend, not the invite list. This decides the fountain size.
  2. Choose the format. Station for staffed, made-to-order dessert, fountain for a chocolate centerpiece.
  3. Call early. Call the catering line as early as you can to check that your date is available.
  4. Confirm the address. Delivery is included in the package, but extra charges apply outside Orange County, so give us the location up front.
  5. Plan your service window. Packages include three hours. Think about when guests arrive, and set the start time so the three hours cover the main part of the event.
  6. Choose extras. Decide on sides, white chocolate or a color theme.

Questions to have ready when you call

  • The date, start time and address
  • Your expected guest count
  • Whether you want a station, a fountain or both
  • Any color theme
  • Whether any guests have allergies. Our team can talk through ingredients with you.
